Speech Title:

Ultra-Low Latency Intelligent Digital Twins - Extreme Manufacturing Paradigm from theDigital Space

Abstract:

Current extreme manufacturing research focuses on physical space (e.g., length scale). However, how toleverage the emerging digital technologies (e.g., AI, digital twins, and advanced wireless) to drive forextreme manufacturing is a grand challenge. This talk defines a new dimension of extrememanufacturing paradigm from the perspective of digital space. The concept of ultra-low latencyintelligent digital twins is introduced to meet the extreme temporal requirement of future latency-criticalmanufacturing with a case study.
